So big big news for us here at The Old Crow:

Grandmaster Ben Atkinson has sautéed his last sausage for the Crow.

He has passed on his reins and wisdom to Luke Foyle, who will be filling the mighty shoes of Head Chef.

We here wish to extend our sincerest gratitude to Ben for all the hard work he’s put in over the past year and a half, we don’t know what we would have done without him. Top bloke, dead set legend, and damn fine chef. Best of luck!!

And congratulations to Head Chef Luke!
He’s got many a trick up his sleeve, and many a damn fine food to serve up.

The Old Crow got a nice little nod in there too – which to say the least, we’re rightly chuffed about.

Woo Hoo! Who’s going to the Beaufort street festival this Saturday? Well seeing as we’re just down the road a ways, why not come & fortify yourself for the big day with breakfast at The Old Crow!

We’re doing $28 pitchers of our “NEW ORLEANS NUTMEG” – Vodka, Chambord, Elderflower & dry ginger, as well as $14 SAZERAC- a ‘Noowoorleens’ classic.

These specials will be available all day Saturday & Sunday from 8am until staff bed time, because let’s face it – If there is one thing they love in New Orleans, it’s a street party.

Breakfast will be serving as of THIS weekend, so prepare yourselves for a bit of the delightfully unusual. A few things to consider before it all begins:

  1. Kransky Hot Dogs are perfectly acceptable as a kickstart to the day
  2. Bacon goes with everything – eggs, turduckens, shoes, weddings, desk calenders…
  3. Bring a responsible friend, because we sure as hell ain’t gonna stop you ordering your second/third/fourth dog
  4. ‘Cowboy eggs’ are not laid by cowboys, just chickens in tiny Stetsons
  5. Of course we’ve got vegetarian, dont be silly
  6. Bacon goes with vegetarian too

The most important meal of the day will be available in TOC as of next Sat/Sun (19/10) and every weekend forevermore.

Ben & co have been hard at work knocking up some unusual and brain-breaking tasty business for the breakfast menu.

There has been mention of hotdogs, kranskies, cowboy eggs and a few other things that could possibly make your future activities of lunch & dinner obsolete.
